I am most excited about trends related to e-commerce marketing changes, consumer needs, strategies that are working now, new technologies and so on. I'm also looking forward to the discussions about AI and how e-commerce businesses can leverage it. All the insights will be helpful to share with clients, potential customers seeking to expand internationally, and partners.

 

What are the biggest challenges facing eCommerce retailers heading into Q4 and peak season?

When thinking of Q4, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the overall holiday shopping season come to mind. Those occasions require months of preparation. eCommerce retailers must be ready to meet (or exceed) customer expectations to outpace their competitors. Buyers now demand faster delivery, seamless online experiences, and personalised service, pushing eCommerce businesses to innovate. The ability to navigate these challenges effectively will be key to success in this season.

 

What is most exciting to you about the eCommerce and digital marketing industry right now?

From my perspective, it is the incredible potential for international expansion and the ability to reach new markets. The global digital economy is more connected than ever, offering eCommerce businesses the opportunity to expand beyond their domestic borders with relative ease. This allows even small and medium-sized businesses to take advantage of it.

This not only expands revenue potential but also encourages innovation as companies adapt their products and marketing strategies to meet the unique needs of these new customer bases.

It's crucial to take initiative—making decisions and acting on them is far more productive than trying to create the perfect scenario. Keep learning, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to take calculated risks that will push your business forward.
